The next destination in this Rajasthan trip itinerary is Udaipur. This city is famous for its white marble palaces, and therefore is called the White City. There are around 7 lakes in and around Udaipur, and this is the reason it is called the City of Lakes. A visit to Udaipur feels like a romantic retreat filled with Rajputana grandeur.
Jodhpur is another destination to visit in Rajasthan trip plan. This is the Blue City of Rajasthan, and this is because of the blue-colored houses in Jodhpur. You can visit Mehrangarh Fort, and this fort is very powerful fort in all of Rajasthan. The mix of royalty and folk culture is what makes Jodhpur one of the fascinating destinations in Rajasthan.
Mount Abu enjoys the distinction of being the only hill station in Rajasthan. This hill station has many vantage points which offer magnificent panoramic views of the Aravalli Mountains. Mount Abu is also one of the spiritual destinations, where you can visit the Dilwara Jain Temples. You will feel the romantic vibes of Mount Abu when you do the sunset boating in Nakki Lake.
Jaisalmer is where you can marvel at the gigantic Jaisalmer Fort. This Golden City of Rajasthan has immense tourist popularity because of the sand dunes of Jaisalmer. The heritage architecture, tribal culture, and wilderness of the Thar Desert is what makes Jaisalmer one of the best Rajasthan destinations.
You can stay in luxury desert camps in the Sam desert. This stay amidst the desert dunes makes your holiday even more memorable. You can go for camel rides and explore the vastness of the desert more closely. The camp stay in Sam also gives you an opportunity to enjoy folk songs and tribal dance.
Itinerary
- As you arrive in Jaipur, our tour representative will pick you and transfer to hotel.
- After check-in, you will begin the Jaipur sightseeing tour.
- We will visit Jaipur City Palace, where you can visit many palaces, courtyards, and museum.
- You can view weapons, costumes, jewelry, and other royal objects in the museum.
- In the outer area of Jaipur City Palace, you can view artisans make block-printed textiles.
- Next stop will be Hawa Mahal, and you can take selfies and photographs.
- Now proceed further and visit Jantar Mantar, which has 19 instruments for celestial objects in the universe.
- We will now visit Birla Temple, which is also known as Laxminarayan Temple.
- Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, explore the monuments of Jaipur.
- Start with Amer Fort, where the famous song from Mughal-e-Azam, “Jab Pyaar kiya to darna kya,” was shot.
- Amer Fort is featured in the UNESCO World Heritage Forts of Rajasthan, and locals also call it as Amber Palace.
- Next, we will visit Jaigarh Fort, which is connected to Amer Fort with underground secret tunnels.
- You can view Jaiwana Cannon in Jaigarh Fort, which was once recognized as being the largest cannon-on-wheels.
- Next is Nahargarh Fort, which offers panoramic views of Jaipur city.
- We now proceed further and visit Kanak Vrindavan Garden, which has many fountains, roses, and Rajasthani sculptures.
- Move on and visit Jal Mahal, and view it from a distance, as the palace is in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
- In the evening, visit the local bazaars of Jaipur.
- Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- Check-out from Jaipur after breakfast and proceed to Udaipur.
- Make short stop on the route and visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah to pay homage to the famous Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
- Now visit Pushkar Lake, which ranks among the most sacred lakes in the Hindu religion.
- Visit Brahma Temple in Pushkar, which is the only temple of Lord Brahma in the world.
- If you have time, then visit the Statue of Belief, which is the tallest Shiva statue, of 112 meters.
- Arrive in Udaipur and check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
- Begin the sightseeing tour of Udaipur after breakfast.
- Visit Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Nehru Garden by boat (if boat service is available).
- We will move on and visit Maharana Pratap Memorial at Moti Magri.
- Now we will visit Saheliyon ki Bari, which is a landscaped garden, with fountains, sculptured kiosks, and lots of greenery.
- Drive through Sukhadiya Circle and view the lake, street stalls, and attractive boats.
- Next attraction is the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, which has many paintings, handicrafts of Rajasthan.
- Now visit Udaipur City Palace, which has many palaces, a museum, and royal treasures.
- You can now visit Lake Pichola, and go for a sunset boat ride.
- The next attraction is Jagdish Temple, which is a huge temple with carvings and sculptures.
- We will visit Gulab Bagh, and you can view the zoo and garden.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- Check-out from Udaipur and proceed to Mount Abu, the hill station in the Aravalli Hills.
- Check into the hotel and begin sightseeing in Mount Abu.
- First visit the Arbuda Devi Temple, which is also called Adhar Devi Temple. Mount Abu is named after Arbuda Devi, the deity of this temple.
- Next, visit Honeymoon Point, where you can view the valleys and mountains of the Aravalli Hills.
- We will now visit Dilwara Jain Temples, which is a Jain pilgrimage site and a marble temple with incredible architecture.
- After this visit, proceed to Toad Rock, which is a toad-shaped rock structure.
- Visit the Art Museum and view exhibits about Rajasthani art and crafts.
- Move further and visit Nakki Lake and do boating in the lake (direct expenses).
- Now overnight stay in the hotel.
- Check-out from Mount Abu and proceed to visit Jodhpur, which is also called as Blue City of Rajasthan.
- Arrive in Jodhpur and check into the hotel. Begin sightseeing in Jodhpur.
- First visit Mehrangarh Fort, which is a huge fort with palaces, temple, and a museum.
- Walk on the stony lanes in the fort and marvel at the incredible architecture.
- You can view Jodhpur city from the top of the fort.
- Now move further in this tour and visit Jaswant Thada, a marble monument which is a memorial of a former Marwar king.
- You can now visit Clock Tower Market, where the clock is still functional after all these decades.
- Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, visit Mandore Garden, which is garden-cum-memorial for Marwar kings.
- View the fantastic architecture of the memorials and the greenery of the garden.
- We proceed and visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is hailed as the largest royal residences in the whole world.
- Now check-out from Jodhpur and proceed to Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan.
- Check into the hotel in Jaisalmer and go for sightseeing tours.
- Visit Jaisalmer Fort, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Forts in Rajasthan.
- Take walks inside the fort and visit the temples and havelis.
- Now visit Patwon ki Haveli, which is a group of five havelis merged into one.
- Later, visit Salim Singh ki Haveli, which was built with spectacular architecture and carvings.
- Proceed onwards and visit Nathmal ki Haveli, which is renowned for its jharokha carvings.
- Then visit Gadisar Lake, where you can view monuments, shrines, and memorials around the lake.
- Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to the Sam sand dunes area near Jaisalmer.
- Check into the desert camp and enjoy various desert activities.

- After breakfast, proceed to visit Kuldhara, which is a heritage village near Jaisalmer.
- Explore the ruined village and abandoned houses of Kuldhara.
- Walk in the lanes of Kuldhara and listen to the mysterious stories about the village.
- Then visit Jaisalmer War Museum, where you can view battle tanks, war planes, and other weapons of the Indian army.
- Then drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur.
- We will drop you at Jodhpur Airport/ Jodhpur Railway Station.
